Los Reyes abandonarán su precaria vivienda de su modesto barrio de la Fraguita en la localidad Antonio Nariño, en el sur de la ciudad, para instalarse con sus hábitos y sus costumbres en la mansión que Mercedes Rubio posee, en un exclusivo barrio de la ciudad, lindera a la de los Iriarte, generándose múltiples conflictos entre ambas familias.
El cruce de personajes con distintos matices será muy rico y facilitará la posibilidad de crear situaciones cómicas y románticas en esta ficción con formato de novela diaria. “Los Reyes” dejará espiar la vida de dos familias que en diferentes condiciones sociales, económicas y culturales se cruzan circunstancialmente en un determinado momento y compiten por un mismo objetivo.
