Joaquin Morales es un “Tarzán moderno”, nació y creció en la isla caribeña, LA Hermosa, con el paisaje más espectacular del mundo (que debería ser reserva natural). Joaquín jamás ha venido a Bogotá y la ciudad más grande que conoce es Puerto Bello. Pero a Joaquín no le hace falta nada y lo que le falta se lo inventa. Se pasa los días haciendo máquinas extrañas y solucionando los problemas domésticos de la región… Carpintero, mecánico y pescador, Joaquín conoce su medio y lo domina como nadie. Él es parte de la naturaleza, un bicho raro, otra especie en vía de extinción. Creció como todos en su isla, sin agua potable, ni luz, porque en la isla La Hermosa se vive como en el siglo pasado. Hasta un día en el que llega un televisor y la curiosidad cambia todo.
El televisor se prende, la sorpresa de todos es mayúscula cuando descubren que dentro de la cajita mágica está una mujer espectacular presentando un programa. El programa se llama: “Las noches de Luciana”, y Luciana, la presentadora, ya le quitó la respiración a media población y sobre todo a Joaquín, que no puede creer tanta belleza, tanto encanto, tanta sonrisa y cuerpo juntos. Luciana Rivas, que ha cumplido 32 años, es una exitosa presentadora y empresaria (dueña de una famosa firma de cosméticos y cremas para la belleza que llevan su nombre) que vive en otro mundo. Acostumbrada a tener miles de asistentes que le escogen desde el desayuno hasta la ropa, Luciana vive y trabaja para su imagen de mujer que lo tiene todo: fama, fortuna, encanto, admiradores y miles de pretendientes.
