Una de las historias más importantes de la televisión en Colombia sigue cosechando éxitos con su más reciente versión. ‘Café Con Aroma de Mujer’ ha llegado a más de 100 países en el mundo entre los que están Hungría, Israel, Eslovenia, Croacia, Portugal, España y muchos más a través de la plataforma Netflix. En esta última logró más de 300 millones de horas de reproducción y alcanzó el Top10 en 19 países de habla no inglesa.

La producción de Estudios RCN es protagonizada por William Levy y Laura Londoño, acompañados por artistas de la talla de Carmen Villalobos, Diego Cadavid, Lincoln Palomeque, Mabel Moreno, Katherine Vélez, entre otros.

La nueva versión de la idea original de Fernando Gaitán narra el amor apasionado e imposible entre dos jóvenes de orígenes opuestos: Gaviota, una humilde recolectora de café y Sebastián, un joven perteneciente a una opulenta saga cafetera. Gaviota superará miles de obstáculos gracias a su amor por el café y el deseo de salir adelante con su mamá.

Sinopsis

Como todos los años, Gaviota y su mamá llegan a la Hacienda Casablanca a recoger el café de la segunda cosecha del año, pero este octubre tienen la esperanza de que sea el último, pues a partir de ahora, serán dueñas de su propia tierra. Sin embargo, el destino tiene otros planes. Octavio Vallejo, el dueño de la Hacienda, el mismo hombre a quien ella salvo de un supuesto secuestro, el mismo que le prometió como recompensa darle una hectárea de tierra para que ella cultivara su propio café, ¡Acaba de fallecer!

En el entierro del patriarca, Gaviota conoce a Sebastián, hijo de Octavio, radicado en el exterior. Desde la primera mirada, nace entre ellos una atracción incontenible, un amor de esos que ya no se ven, desgarrador, apasionado, imposible. Son dos personas que pertenecen a mundos distintos, él se mueve entre las élites Neoyorkinas, ella entre los cafetales, pero, aunque pareciera que no tienen nada que ver, ambos saborean el mismo café.
