Bogotá, 2017. En el remate de una feria equina, Sergio Aparicio, un brillante ejecutivo bogotano de bolsa, conoce a una misteriosa mujer: Lucía Martínez.
Ambos están en el lugar por razones diferentes, él para hacer dinero, y ella, para hablar con Mónica Zapata sobre el origen real del niño al que Mónica considera su hijo; pero con lo que no contaban los dos, era con la honda atracción que nace entre ellos.
Luego de tener una apasionada relación amorosa, Sergio provee la información de Mónica a Lucía, sin imaginar los problemas que esto derivará. Este ejecutivo se verá expulsado de su mundo, acusado del secuestro de un bebé, el hijo de Mónica Zapata, cuyo padre es el cuestionado ganadero Don Leonardo Zapata. Ahora, localizar a Lucía será su objetivo.
En una carrera contra el tiempo, deberá hallar a esta hermosa y misteriosa mujer, descubrir el paradero del bebé y salvar su pellejo de la venganza de Leonardo Zapata. Pero esto, no le devolverá su cómoda vida en la ciudad; al contrario, lo llevará al encuentro con la Colombia profunda; a un mundo de gente desplazada y acosada por los ecos de un conflicto armado, en el que las fronteras de los inocentes y los culpables se diluyen, y las verdades no son lo que parecen.
Bogotá, 2017. At the closing of a horse exhibition, Sergio Aparicio a brilliant stock broker from Bogota meets a mysterious woman: Lucia Martínez.

In a race against time he must locate this beautiful and mysterious woman, discover the whereabouts of the baby in order to save his own neck from the wrath of Leonardo Zapata; but this will not return his comfortable life in the city on the contrary it will take him to meet with the deep Colombia. A world filled with people who have had to abandon their home and land due to violence and who are haunted by the echoes of an armed conflict, a conflict in which the boundaries between the innocent and the guilty dissolve and truth is not what it seems to be.
