Oriundo de San Jerónimo, es un guitarrista y requintista exitoso en Medellín. Conoció a Darío a los 16 años y se convirtieron en amigos y compañeros de música. Siempre sonriente y bondadoso, Cuerdita es reservado sobre su vida privada. Oculta su alcoholismo, lo que lo aleja de su hija y nieto. Aunque cree tener todo bajo control, su adicción eventualmente le pasa factura.

A native of San Jeronimo, he is a successful guitarist and requintista in Medellin. He met Darío at the age of 16 and they became friends and musical partners. Always smiling and good-natured, Cuerdita is reserved about his private life. He hides his alcoholism, which keeps him away from his daughter and grandson. Although he thinks he has everything under control, his addiction eventually takes its toll.
