Mujer sabia, asertiva. Es la mayor de los Buenaventura y como Irene también tiene dones para comunicarse con los muertos, por lo que su hermana Esperanza no la quiere cerca de su familia. En el pasado tuvo una relación con Don Américo, fruto del cual nació Irene, a quien intercambio con Benjamín, el hijo de su hermana Esperanza, quienes desconocen esta realidad. Ahora Otilia será la guía de Irene para comunicarse con los muertos, en especial para dar con el paradero de Don Américo.
