En este mundo hay muchos inútiles. Algunos nacen así y a otros, como a Martín, los vuelven inútiles. Primero, cuando estaba listo para hacer su primer gran trabajo, el de “parto”, a su mamá le pareció una manera muy poco elegante de traer un hijo al mundo, con todos esos gritos y decidió que naciera por cesárea. Pero la cosa no paró ahí. Creció mientras lo bañaban, lo vestían, lo llevaban y traían del colegio. Más grande se las arregló para quedarse solo en la finca y ahí, de la mano de Rafael, el esposo de su nana, Teresa, conoció las orquestas de baile y a Ruby, la mujer de su vida. Con ella fue libre, salió, bailó, la amó y quiso casarse, pero un día sin mayor explicación lo dejó para que pudiera estudiar, trabajar, ser alguien en la vida. Pero Martín no quería ser nadie sin ella. Intentó estudiar, trabajar y fracasó en todo. Por eso, ahora que sus padres le exigen que sea alguien en la vida, lo único que se le ocurre es buscar una mujer para lograrlo. Nunca perdió su buen humor, nunca perdió su capacidad de burlarse de sí mismo, ni de soñar que iba a lograr grandes proyectos, grandes empresas. Nunca dejó de amar a Ruby. Para él no hay nada que sea imposible.

With her he was free, he went out, danced, loved her and wanted to get married, but one day without further explanation he left him so that he could study, work, be someone in her life. Nothing is impossible for him.
