Es la directora de contenidos de una importante editorial donde trabaja hace años y tiene una relación bastante distante con los empleados. Ha alejado a sus pretendientes, debido a su insatisfacción y obsesión por cambiarlos. Tiene una mamá con la que sostiene una relación difícil y exclusivamente telefónica. Irene se involucra en un romance clandestino con Steven, el cocinero del spa del que es socia con sus amigas. Él, además de ser algunos años más joven, no pertenece a su clase lo que la conduce a ocultar su romance lo más que pueda.

She is the content director of a major publisher where she has worked for years and has a rather distant relationship with the employees. She has driven the suitors away from her, due to her dissatisfaction and obsession with changing them. She has a mother with whom she has a difficult and exclusively telephone relationship. Irene becomes involved in a clandestine affair with Steven, the cook at the spa that she is a member of with her friends. He, besides being a few years younger, does not belong to her class which leads her to hide the romance from her as much as she can.
