Es una mujer muy humana, llena de errores y contradicciones; no se queda callada ante nada y es frentera a morir, una cualidad que a veces se le convierte en defecto. Su impertinencia la hace un personaje divertido, en especial porque no puede tener la lengua quieta y cada vez que abre la boca, uno sufre. Entiende perfectamente lo que significa “el valor de la libertad” y de la igualdad, lo ha visto en sus amigos, los negros, a quienes tratan de animales sin alma. Lo ha visto en carne propia cuando la han tratado de obligar a “hacer lo correcto” en contra de sus sentimientos y sus convicciones.

She is a very human woman, full of mistakes and contradictions; she doesn't remain silent about anything and is a front to die, a quality that sometimes becomes her defect. Her impertinence makes her a fun character, especially since she can't keep her tongue still and every time she opens her mouth, you suffer. She perfectly understands what "the value of freedom" and equality means, she has seen it in her friends, the blacks who are treated as soulless animals. She has seen it firsthand when they have tried to force her to “do the right thing” against her feelings and her convictions.
