Vicepresidente de la Gran Colombia. Es un hombre honesto, verraco y noble como ninguno. Es un personaje blanco, sin dobles intenciones, valiente hasta el límite de la locura, curtido por los sufrimientos y muy inteligente. Pasó muchos años en la cárcel y entendiendo su tragedia, podemos comprender las razones por las cuales valió la pena luchar a muerte contra la hegemonía española
