En esta etapa de su vida, Nicolás sufre una especie de adolescencia tardía y mientras resulta ser un genio para las finanzas, su vida sentimental y personal está cada vez más enredada. Su madre, por ejemplo, insiste en opinar sobre todo lo que tiene que ver con él. Sigue siendo el mejor amigo de Betty a quien no se acostumbra a ver como una mujer casada, por eso no tiene inconveniente en aparecerse en su casa y ‘atracar’ su nevera.

At this stage of his life, Nicolás suffers a kind of late adolescence and while he turns out to be a genius for finances, his sentimental and personal life is increasingly entangled. His mother, for example, insists on giving her opinion on everything she has to do with him. He is still Betty's best friend whom he is not used to seeing as a married woman, so he has no problem showing up at her house and 'robbing' her fridge.
