Llega de su querida Barranquilla, dispuesta a conquistar la fría capital. Quiere demostrar que puede salir adelante sin ayuda de nadie, liberarse del machismo de su familia y de su exnovio que después de proponerle matrimonio, en los carnavales, “le puso cuernos”. Soledad no quiere saber de amores, sin embargo, tan pronto llega a Bogotá se encuentra con la galantería de Amaury, el samario encantador y “parlero” estudiante de derecho que queda "prendado" por ella.

She arrives from her beloved Barranquilla, ready to conquer the cold capital. She wants to prove that she can get ahead without anyone's help, free herself from the machismo of her family and her ex-boyfriend who, after proposing to her during the carnivals, “cheated on her”. Soledad does not want to know about love, however, as soon as she arrives in Bogota she meets the gallantry of Amaury, the charming Samario and “talkative” law student who is “smitten” by her.
