Estuvo enamorado de Diana desde el colegio y la siguió en su carrera como suboficial de la policía. La acompañó a combatir la guerrilla en un pueblo lejano y ella, al ver esa muestra de amor, decidió por fin darle una oportunidad. Una semana después, un ataque de los insurgentes los separó indefinidamente. Lleva seis años internado en la selva y saber que Diana lo espera con su pequeña hija es la única razón que lo mantiene vivo.

He was in love with Diana since high school and followed her in his career as a police non-commissioned officer. He accompanied her to fight the guerrillas in a distant town and she, seeing that show of love, finally decided to give him a chance. A week later, an insurgent attack separated them indefinitely. He has been interned in the jungle for six years and knowing that Diana is waiting for him with their little daughter is the only reason that keeps him alive.
