Es la rival de María Clara. La detesta secretamente porque siempre estuvo enamorada de Román, su marido y en la Universidad, donde ambas se conocieron, siempre compitió con ella por los primeros lugares. Gloria viene de un hogar humilde, ha tenido que trabajar desde muy joven para ayudar a su familia y cuidar a su madre enferma. Es ambiciosa, resentida y de pocos escrúpulos. Hace todo lo que está a su alcance para que el trabajo de María Clara en el Hospital se vea opacado y no le perdona que se haya casado con Román.

She secretly hates her because she was always in love with Román, her husband, and at the University, where they both met, she always competed with her for the first places. Gloria comes from a humble home, she has had to work from a very young age to help her family and care for her sick mother. She is ambitious, resentful, and unscrupulous. She does everything in her power to make María Clara's work at the Hospital overshadowed and she does not forgive her for marrying Román.
